2018 DAY OF CARING VOLUNTEER FORM 2018_DOC_Volunteer_Form_2-26-2018.pdf

The United Way is about getting involved and giving back to your community. Each year United Way of Wayne County holds the Day of Caring asking members of the community to donate a day of their time volunteering at one of the charitable organizations in our community. The activities can include anything from serving meals, visiting the elderly, building a book-shelf, cleaning a storage area, repairing a  fence, walking a dog, painting, planting, gardening or landscaping. It's a great opportunity for team building and to obtain a better understanding of the needs of our community. This year we are asking local businesses to participate in a Basic Needs Drive as part of the Day of Caring projects, local food pantries will benefit depending on the response. Please click on the links below if you would like to sign up to volunteer for the Day of Caring in Wayne County on May 23rd or if you are interested in organizing a Basic Needs/Food Drive for the Wayne County Community. Thank you!
